Financial aid for families with low income
Children and teenagers of low-income families are entitled to financial aid from the “Bildungs- und Teilhabepaket.” Membership fees for certain sports clubs, or fees for free- time activities are also provided.
The following groups of people are entitled to aid:
- recipients of ALG II (Hartz IV)
- recipients of “Cost of living”
- recipients of housing benefit
- recipients of special support for children
- persons who are seeking political asylum
